Ground Control Arcade
Arcade
Four tiny flight sims lifted straight out of our competition tasks — three on a 2D canvas, one in 3D with the real KA-FA1500 airframe. No downloads, no sound, just your reflexes.
How to playTap the canvas or press Space to flap — clear the treetops, dodge the birds, and every obstacle you pass is a point.
How to playTap the canvas or press Space to release the 8 oz bottle — the wind drags both the aircraft and the payload, so lead the ring. Bullseye 50, inner 25, outer 10 — and the run clock keeps ticking. Three wasted bottles and it is over.
How to playHold Space to climb, steer with ← →, or drag a finger on the canvas. The battery drains as you fly and only refills when you touch down on a fresh checkpoint — crosswind included. The sky gets busier with height: tree branches reach in from the edges low down, birds cost you 30 % battery, cloud banks drag you sideways, and above 640 m helicopters and airliners cut across the screen. Traffic is flagged at the edge about a second before it arrives. Score is metres climbed plus a bonus for every obstacle cleared.
How to playOur competition run in miniature: take off, chase the waypoint gates, drop into the search areas, keep flying. Steer with ← → ↑ ↓ or WASD and hold Space to boost — on a phone, drag on the lower-left of the canvas and tap BOOST. Every clean gate feeds the battery and builds your multiplier; clipping the rim or missing it costs charge and resets the chain. Every fourth gate is a low search-area pass worth triple. Crosswind pushes harder the further you get, and obstacle masts start showing up after gate 6. Esc pauses.
NoteEvery number on the heads-up display is a game value invented for this toy — altitude, speed and battery here are not KA-FA1500 specifications.
